In Mizo language flower is known as 'pangpar'. Few years back a friend and blogger
Jerusha enlightened us with Mizo pangpar (flower), she did a good job in her blog with a title
'Mizo pangpar te leh an Sap hming'. She illustrated names of flower in Mizo and English, also included their Scientific names. It was actually useful and informative, one must see that page if they really interested in Mizoram's flowers. By owing high reference to the descriptions already given by Jerusha i am adding some more flowers in this page which i had collected from our home state
i.e. Mizoram. Some flowers are clicked by my brothers Thlenga Ralte & Amuana Ralte, i owe much credits to them too. On the following pictures i just put question mark (?) on the captions, that means i do not know it name(s) in either in Mizo or in English, if you know it kindly correct me in comment sections.

Mizo songwriter Pu Liandala portrayed Mizoram with famous place for variety of flowers in his poem 'Parmawi thang vulna', it is true to say that we the Mizos loves flowers and flowers got high place in our literature and day to day life as well.
