Chowmahalla Palace, Hyderabad

Along two most faithful friends i had a chance to visit the Nizam's Chowmahalla Palace which is located just a stone's throw away from the famous Charminar in Hyderabad Old City. It is said that Chowmahalla is a replica of the Shah’s Palace in Teheran and we came to know its meaning as 'Chow' means four and 'Mahal' means Palace  (means:Four Palaces). The construction of the palace was started in 1750 and finished in 1869 during the reign of Asaf Jah V. This palace is the seat of the Asaf Jahi dynasty (known as Hyderabad Nizam) and was the official residence of the Nizam. During the period of Nizam in Hyderabad all ceremonial functions including the accession of the Nizams and receptions for the Governor-General were held at this palace (wikipedia).

Our visit to Chowmahalla Palace was awesome and so interesting, for me the most exciting place was a collection of Royal Vintage cars that were bought for and used by the Hyderabad Nizam's royal families. Last of all, the below picture shows about the timings (open and close) of the Chowmahalla Palace, it may be useful for the next visitors.
